WALK #20

Whenever I enter the property, I usually drive right into the garage and enter the house from the garage. When I leave the house for the gardens, I usually go to our backyard where most of the garden blooms. This is all to say, I rarely paid attention to the front yard until I began walking. Geez--lookit what I've been missing. My eyes are long accustomed to horizons. I really need to look more at what's immediately around me.

Song

The horizon is

far, is

near

You need not

leave me

blindsided

You are my

horizon, what

exists

behind, before, on

this shimmering

line

Together, we call

a horizon

Home

In each other

we found

everything

for which we

want to

sing

WALKING TO A NEW YEAR

This will be the last post for this project. This project has done its job in making me begin to walk away from my computer chair--I promise...
