First image: How to write poetry.
Second image: How to write fiction.
But, actually, it can go either way. What I meant by above categorizations is that, nowadays, I try to write poems without fictionalizing because I believe poetry exists all around us and the poet's job is simply to observe and discern, i.e. no need to fictionalize. Thus, the first image below hews to what I, or my camera, saw. As for fiction, you do need to make things up (the second image is an example of what can be created differently from its real-life inspiration), which is why it's called fiction. If you were to write fiction a la the first image, it would be called nonfiction.
Technique
With poetry surrounding
us, one
can
become a poet
by maximizing
lucidity.
